Aleksandra Istorik is a contemporary artist with an international profile, recognized as the creator of the conceptual movement “Golden Surrealism,” an artistic line of research that brings together symbolism, psychological depth, and a distinctive exploration of luminous materiality. Her practice focuses on the relationship between perception, consciousness, and transcendence, proposing an aesthetic experience that goes beyond the visual to enter the sensory and the symbolic.
Throughout her career, she has presented her work in prominent international contexts, including the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris, ESTAMPA in Madrid, Art Karlsruhe in Germany, and AVA Fest in Japan. Her work is part of important private and institutional collections, including MUMA, reinforcing her presence within the contemporary art scene.
In 2021, she founded and assumed the direction of Galería Istorik in Valencia, a space dedicated to the promotion of contemporary art and to the development of curatorial discourses committed to innovation and critical thought. From this platform, she promotes projects that connect artistic practice, conceptual reflection, and international projection.
