Aleksandra Istorik is an internationally acclaimed contemporary artist and the creator of the conceptual movement Golden Surrealism, a practice that brings together symbolism, psychological depth, and a refined luminous materiality. Her work explores inner freedom, the transcendence of mental boundaries, and the poetic dimension of contemporary consciousness, shaping a visual language in which the dreamlike and the philosophical converge in compositions of powerful symbolic resonance.
Her work has been presented in prominent contexts within the international art circuit, including the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris, ESTAMPA in Madrid, Art Karlsruhe in Germany, and AVA Fest in Japan. She has also participated in a unique artistic project developed at the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània, one of Spain’s leading centers dedicated to contemporary art. Her works form part of important private and institutional collections, including that of the Museo Universitario de Arte Moderno (MUMA).
Since 2021, she has directed Galería Istorik in Valencia, Spain, a space conceived as a curatorial platform for dialogue between contemporary art, thought, and new aesthetic sensibilities. From there, she continues to develop and consolidate the singular language of Golden Surrealism within the international art scene.
